Lotte Specht founded the first women’s soccer club in 1930 in Germany. She said „what men can do, we can too“. And so Lotte quickly caused a stir. The 35 young women who played regularly were exposed to great hostility from men and some parents have forbidden their daugthers to play. The history of the first women’s soccer club remained a short episode.
