An illustration is art and an attitude; it illuminates, inspires, tells a story, represents a projection, a multifaceted identity, a discussion, a way in.

Passion shines through Birgit Lang’s illustrations. The women she depicts are unique personalities with stories of bravery; women who dare to do things differently. Birgit seeks to accentuate the individual beauty and power of the women she draws. This transparency allows each woman’s story to unfold in an authentic, human, honest and relatable way.
